The dog really did eat it

Pepper Ann is a sweet, adorable labrador-german shorthair mix. She has her own little personality, but one flaw.
She will eat anything that she can fit in her mouth. Her owner says she's eaten lipstick, ink pens, toothpaste, shampoo and adores kleenex.
But her latest escapade may have her in hot water.
A visiting guest, even after being warned not to leave it where Pepper could reach it, left her purse on a table. Pepper Ann got into it and ate close to $800 in bills.
The story will make you laugh uncontrollably. Check it out here at www.knbc.com/news/13713989/detail.html
Now here's my question to you. What's the most unusual thing that you know of a dog to eat?

The article said that the people had been warned not to leave it there, and I guess they did anyway. The owners were able to get about $700 back in one shape or another and return it to the bank for a refund. Can you imagine having to explain how it got in that shape in the first place?

Can you believe the stress the owner must have felt. That is alot of money and I cant imagaine anyone rich enought to just let a dog eat it so I imagine they were pretty upset over it. I would be anyway. I would be sending that dog to his crate for a bit. LOL

My puppy just eats the normal stuff, anything that is left on the couch and on the coffe table is fair game to him. lOL He did chew up my husband shoes when he was just a couple months old. We learned rather quickly to not leave our shoes out where he could get to them. LOL

I was reading a blog on one of the news sites last night about this story, and everyone was posting their "doggy treat" stories. One of the girls posted about her rat terrier chewing up her husbands glasses that he had gotten off the bedside table.

Well, one of my dogs has an insatiable appetite. I am so careful to not leave anything in the floor or on side tables. Even in the kitchen, nothing is on the floor, and sometimes I have to hide my trash. But one night, my clumsy fingers dropped a Mirapex on the floor (for Restless Leg Syndrome). Before I could even bend down to get it, my dog rushed in and swallowed it. Don't worry, he is fine, but I spent a lot of time worrying throughout the night.

My mom called my daughter a few nights ago, wanting Dr. Jill's number at home. It seems that Boots...her chihuahua who loves chocolate, had snatched a chocolaty exlax pill out of my dad's hand before he could put it into his mouth!
They had to put him outside in the kennel, which really hacked him off, but the vet said just watch him and make sure he got enough water.

Well, the day that I posted this, our yorkie mix chewed the knob off the blood pressure cuff. I was not happy with her to say the least. It wasn't $800 mind you, but it was a $50 electronic/automatic cuff.
