I know exactly why people do it. I've been there myself. You just can't see out of the fog of depression. One cannot explain to someone who has never suffered from real clincal depression what it is like. It is just an empty feeling and when you think of living the rest of your life like that it is unbearable. And with the stigma that surrounds depression many are too scared or embarrassed to seek help. And other around them don't want to see the problem so they don't offer any help.

Thank you very much, that is a very good point adn it is very important that we have an opinion from someone who knows what the clinical depresion is like. Might I asck you what drove you into depresion, what do you think the is the cause of depresion and Am I write when I say that there is no real cause oe motive why one should feel like giveing up on ones life?

Because they have lost the strength to carry on, they need help and most people close to the victim dont recognise the signs till its too late.

Yes it is a problem in comunicating with other people in the firt place. that leads to depresion.

Yes, but don't you think there is a place for everibody in this world, and if someones life is so bad they should change it, go someplace else, start over, somewhere better.

To have final control over their life, which in all likelihood, became out of their control. It's the ultimate expression of mastering one's destiny and fate.

So the final control over the life is to end it? Life ends anyway sooner or later. I hink the final control would be to descover imortalyty. Anyway in both cases, would be a turn away from God. There is a self distructive nature in all humans and the first thing it does is to turn from God.

i say if your suffering its your right to decide if my dog gets really sick and is in pain i will take her to the vet to be put down if i end up in the same boat theres no way im hanging around in pain im out of here too

But a dog is a dog, we are talking about people. Onli god can decide when your life ends. Nou can't you have to endure.

They do it because they feel hopeless and there is no way out of whatever they are going through, whether it is a loss of family member or spouse, job, friend. Some people do it because they do not feel loved or worth anything or someone hurt them really bad. There are probably many other reasons. It is very sad to hear someone doing this.

I don't know anyone in this situation but I saw 2 people killing themselfs. It was horribile. It was 2 diferent times. Anyway I think that in life you have to stay alive no mater what. As long you are alive that alone should be a reason to be happy, because you can feel and think and comunicate.
