What are some good crafts or activities for an almost 3 yr old boy?

My son will be 3 soon, I'd like to get some ideas of fun crafts or activities for his age. please share your thoughts:)

finger painting,washable markers,posterboards,maybe trying to get him to try to repeat his a,b,cs after you and count to ten if you can get them to sat still long enough lol

if you dont mind too much mess, i got one for you. you will need: glue craft popsickle sticks magnets nic naks (mediun size so he wont choke on em) newspaper lots of patience if you have these respond with a yes.
