We all want people to read our articles at Helium.com . Some topics are big hits now, but years from now may fizzle out. Other topics are timeless. People would be clicking on them decades from now. What topics do you think will continue to get people to read them in years to come and why?

The timeless articles would be articles on health, beauty, Parenting tips, personal finances as ways to save money, frugal living, resume and other job related articles. These aticles topics are problems that would exist until there is human race on earth. So as long as helium is there on internet, the article titles in these channels will be timeless.

I think you're right about the list you created. Money and job-related articles have done well for me when I write for Helium. Health, beauty, and parenting seem to change over time, but require a lot of ideas because there are so many variables. Thank you for responding and for the interesting topics list.

Yes these topics are timeless but they are also very competitive topics. It's difficult to find one niche in these topics that will get a good search but little competition. A good search would entail severe competition. But little competition would mean very little search.

I've found that some of the seasonal topics (like those about holidays) are tempting and easy to write about, but those are the ones I would recommend avoiding. They do have the potential to be well read, but generally only once each year. To decide if something will be popular in the long run, I try to write on the topics that concern me. Finances and health are both topics of concern for me, and I generally assume they will be topics of concern for others too.

Yes, I wrote about decorating Easter Eggs, and I think people will only read about that around April of next year. Finances and health do concern a lot of people. They concern me a great deal, too. The one article of mine about finances has done relatively well. Ways of looking at health are always changing. I haven't written about health much, yet. But now we have 2 writers that say that's a very important/timeless subject. So maybe I will check out the health pages more often at Helium. Thank you very much for your assistance. Take care.

I thought food would be on the lists somewhere. I think 10 years from now, someone will still want ideas on how to make a great pizza. Food, shelter, and clothing are basics that everyone needs. But finances and health are basics that everyone is concerned about. Any more ideas out there before I shut this discussion down?
