On August 10th there's going to be a movie coming out called Stardust, and this looks like it'll be something right up not only my alley to go and see, but I bet a lot of you as well. And you should see the official website....it's also fantastic--there's even one spot, where you can name your own star...This looks like a really "magical" fantasy kind of movie--can't wait to see it. The cast includes Claire Danes, Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfieffer and Peter O'Toole So take a look at the website..and while you're at it...name a star for yourself...I naturally named mine "Pyewacket" after my cat..LOL http://www.stardustmovie.com/

I had so much fun on this site, pyewacket! I also chose a star and named it worldwise. I sure wish I could create those links. Is it done with HTML? You're the best. I can't wait for the movie either.

I have read the book, but I haven't seen the movie yet. I'll try to look for a dvd or something, I'll try to see if the movie is a good rendition of the book. I hope I won't get disappointed haha

I was responding to this at 2am this morning (It's 8am now) and I posted my reply just as my session finished...lost it! Gee I hate that. It took me over an hour to download the site for stardust and then it wasn't working properly...bloody dial-up. From what I could see, it looked like a movie I would enjoy too. These days I tend to fall asleep during movies...*sigh*. I didn't get to name a star.

I saw this movie this past weekend, and it was AMAZING! It's a good fantasy movie because it's not to heavy on magic, prancing elves, etc.. And there are some really amazing action sequences to! Being a guy who..like chick flicks..I must say that some of the romantic scenes are soooo poetic and come accross as very believable. I reccomend it!

We went and saw "Stardust" last night, and it was wonderful! Not exactly like the book, but then so few movies really are. Definitely go check it out, if you haven't already! :)

I love Fantasy films, and this film does look like it will be good, but right now, I am saving my money for The Simpsons. I have been waiting 18 years for this film and I am not going to let it go to waste.

I am so looking forward to seeing Stardust. That is one movie I won't be forgetting when it is suppose to come out in theaters, because it comes out the day after my birthday. I'm taking myself to see it as a late birthday present to myself. The trailers make it look really good, but I just hope it's not a let down. But so far it's looks like a real good movie.

With all the stars in the movie, it is really important for the movie to succeed. It couldn't have been inexpensive to make. But it looks like great fun! I am glad to see Michelle Pfeifer make a little comeback this year. And for all fantasy lovers who like Harry Potter, they have something to tide them over for now.

My 6 yr old son actually pointed to this movie's poster and told me he wanted to see it! Thanks for posting the website, I went there & checked the movie out, hadn't known anything about it before. It looks good. I am pleased to see that it was co-written by Neil Gaiman, one of my favorite authors!

I've seen the previews and it definitely looks interesting. I'm curious to see it. I rarely go to the theaters though so I doubt I'll end up seeing it by then. I do dispise claire danes though, but she's been in some semi-decent movies sometimes. I may have to go name a star though :)

That is really an awesome site. I just saw the commercial about the movie a couple of days ago, and I plan to go see it when it comes to the theater. And yes, I went to the site and named my own star. I named it for my sweet Meg, and I called it Meg's Peacefulness. It brought a tear to my eye when I named it too.

i agree! the movie trailers that ive seen for this movie look just fantastic! i love De Niro and Pfieffer to boot! not to mention the talent of Peter O'Toole! course the last movie i watched "Bridge to Terabithia" i thought was right up my alley too. it was a good story and all, but nothing like what the trailers implied..course that happens with most movies nowadays. but i AM holding out hope for Stardust! lol we shall just have to wait and see!

I've seen the trailer so many times. It looks like it's gonna be a fun movie. It has so many famous actors and actresses playing in it. Looking forward to watch it soon. Haven't been to that site though. Somehow, looks like the website will be fun too. Will visit the website once I'm kinda free. :) Thanks for the info, dude!
