When I was a child I used to wait for the rainbow after the rain, my neighbors and th e kids would talk about the rainbow and our excitement about the rainbow. There were times that I end up sad when the rain bow does not show and great happiness when we see the rainbow. It was a source of happiness during those days. Today I looked back and feel great to remember those happy moments of my childhood days. A chance to remind myself to look for the rainbow after the rain, even if I am grown up now.

I guess you are right, I am busy lately and it seemed that we have lost the time for little yet childlike matters, its to be a child sometimes.

I remember that I also used to do that when I was a kid.. I remember that everytime there was a rainbow I try jumping with the attempt of touching it.. I even ask my parents where does it came from and where does it leads.. It's funny to remember those momments.. Now that Im all grown up I've realize why rainbows exist.. That is to remind us that there is always a bright momment that would follow after a heavy rain of tests and challenges that comes in our lives...

I still do enjoy looking at the rainbows after a rainstorm. Rainbows are very beautiful to look at, whether you are a child or an adult. I love all the beautiful colors. I never get tired of seeing a rainbow.

I love rainbows, too! They just simply make me smile. Of course, I remember once when I was driving through Texas at some point and on the road in front of me it looked like a clouded elevator between the ground and the sky and it was all lit up. It was really amazing looking and it reminded me of a story in the Bible that talks about someone who had a vision of angels going up and down between Heaven and Earth. When you mentioned the rainbow, I just flashed on that memory. It was so neat that I wrote about it later and I can still see it in my mind. Thanks for reminding me of it.

Rainbow - Known as "Indradanush" the bow of the king of the gods.
It rains and shines heavily in the hill country where I was living when I was a kid.I with my friends always watch the rainbows in awe and wait for the sad moment of it vanishing slowly leaving a void in our young minds. We return back reassured that the bow will come again for sure. Thanks for making me relive those beautiful moments friend.

Rainbows are so beautiful.God gave them to us as a promise that He would never flood the earth again like he did with the story of Noah and the ark. Gernesis 9: 11- 13 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the watersof a flood: neither shall there any more flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

i don't really wait for the rainbow to show up after the rain when i was young. but if i see one i get amazed by its beauty especially when you're in a nature trip like near the waterfalls then a rainbow suddenly appears..ahh..very therapeutic. it's more awesome if it shows up in nature than in a city with tall buildings. =)

You are right friend. In fact I used to see and identify different colours of the rainbow and never I could do that. After we start seeing the rainbow, your eyes will become blurred and you cannot identify the colours separately. Atleast for me it happened so. Now I am old, cannot see clearly that distance. But that desire remained. You have brought nostalgic memories of my rainbow days. Thanks.

I also used to see rainbow if I got to see it after rainfall. I had many fairy tales about the rainbow. One was that there is a hiiden treasue at the end of rainbow where it touches the earth. The childhood years are golden years of everybody's life which he or she remembers during all his life.

I love seeing rainbows too, but its a very long time since I saw one, maybe because of being busy and forgetting to look up in the sky after the rain, every child love to see rainbows too, and im one of them during my childhood, its very warming to our heart seeing rainbow in the sky, the color of it and of course as old people says that when you see a rainbow it means that the love of GOD is a never ending..And of course the story of a pot of gold at the end of it..
