If I were President of the US, I believe I would resign the position. In my opinion the job would have so much stress involved that it would be hazardous to a persons physical health and mental well being. It must take an exceptionally strong person to hold this position. Never having any privacy in addition to a huge amount of responsibility, would be enough to make many of us nuts!

I agree with the first responder that the job is just too stressful & not attractive at all. But if I were, I'd bring our sons & daughters home from the middle east & concentrate more on what's happening in our country than the rest of the world.

If I were the president of the US, I would spend my time talking with other powers and persuade them to disarm their weapon store along with the United States. With money saved from maintaining weapons, I would aid poor countries and invest in education system and health service. In order to keep a long-term peace, I would encourage all countries to unite peacefully with the final aim of establishing the sole country of all the world which has a Senate with representatives from all regions, ethnics and religions and a president elected by all earthly citizens. Hence, there would be no wars between countries, no more exploitation or threats big countries do to the small ones. That would be a ever-lasting peace.
