20-20 cricket is a short match and the resulta are seen in hours also the match has less overs 20 overs for each so its named 20-20 match so because of less over the batsman hit the balls like they beat in 40 to 50 over gap in ordinary match. So the batsman rules the future criket fans.

well i watched it and its better than ODI .Here are some rules that i know Each innings should last no longer than 75 minutes, equating to an average of three minutes 45 seconds per over. Teams will get a six-run penalty if they fail to bowl the full 20 overs within the 75 minutes. Batsmen must be ready to take guard or in position at the bowler's end within 90 seconds of a wicket falling. Only two fielders are allowed outside an inner circle for the first six overs of a team's innings. Individual bowlers are in a completed innings ie four overs if there is no delay or interruption caused by rain. Umpires can impose a five-run penalty for time-wasting by batsmen. They are expected to be ready as soon as the bowler is ready.No-balls will be penalised by a free-hit next ball - a batsman cannot be out from a free-hit delivery unless they are run out. Its all about time in this game its like rapidfire version of cricket.

20-20 cricket... - 20-20 cricket. High octane game with high pressure levels among the players, keeping the audience on thr toes. Wtch out for the 20-20 inaugural world cup in september this yr...
Yeah, u r rite, its a 20 over match, wherein each team is alotted 20 overs to play. Its quite a fast game as cmpared to ODIs, and most of the cricket playing nations choose a different team for 20-20 cricket, becoz in this all those elder cricketers will not be able to do justice for their team, this game requires great amount of energy and quick reflexes. Hey u can ctch the 20-20 cricket world cup to knw more abt it. It will be inaugurated in September this year.

oh well dats gr8 coz now ppl can actually watch cricket widout having to waste d whole day. and i can understand how dis will take the toll on players who like to start a little slow and play tactically rather than hit anything they recieve. and it will definately be hard to hit a century now

well...i can tell u that its the most recent version of cricket inorder to do justice to the modern day exitement and cheers to cricket..its a match where each side has 20 overs each to play..it requires lot of energy and enthusiasm...it favours hard hitters rather than technical players...i really do find it very interesting as the match is full of energy and it takes only 4 hrs to complete the match....after some time this will be the most opted form of cricket, just like ODI's now...

well this is certainly a good news to the school going children who had a tough time during the exams when the cricket fever was on. 4 hrs can be adjusted in a tough schedule
