Do you think My Lot is picked up by the search engines?

I've often wondered if My Lot discussions actually make it into the search engines. If that's true, then all our personal mess is right out there in the open for the entire world to see. In other words, anyone outside the My Lot community can see the stuff we are posting. Just a thought. I hope it's not true. Kind of creeps me out thinking that strangers are looking at my words. Funny that I wouldn't think of the other My Lotters as strangers. But, the general world looking through my private life online gives me pause for thought.
So, does anyone know if this is true? Is My Lot in the search engines? Can others outside the My Lot community read our posts? Let me know. I'm not getting any sleep until I figure this one out.

Because you have to log in to MyLot, I don't think that anything under the member's area can be picked up by the searches. I own www.clubindosat.com and I know that I have a robot file that tells the search engines where they are allowed to search. I think the only thing that is search it topic and your uid as you see that is is something like http://mylot.com/XXXXX. I hope that this helps you out.

I think you're right about that. My Lot uses some encrypted html to hide the private stuff about members.

That is the best way to get people to sign up. If just anyone can view discussions then what would be the point of paying people to post. It is the best way to protect the MyLot community. It also helps to keep people from stealing bandwidth by posting unauthorised links on other websites to a discussions. I do believe that some of the topics can be searched by out side searchs but not the members discussions.

Oh, no... now you make me wondering! I hope it won't happen. Yes, it sounds funny that we don't feel like talking to the strangers here on My Lot but if our own discussions can be seen by the entire world, that scares me ...really!
I don't like to reveal too much about my personal life or what is going on in my life but just don't know, sometimes I do spill the beans here on My Lot!
