Can somebody PLEASE help me with my email????

I have the same problem with my outlook express at times – the only thing that works for me is to completely shut down the computer and reboot- Not restart but shut down and then wait a few minutes and then turn on again- Usually corrects whatever ails the e-mail and it works- They tell me this at work also- for any problems completely shut down the computer. Out Look Express is most useful program of microsoft company. It works well with email address of hotmail dot com. You can also receive the emails through yahoo and gmail etc by your out look express, very easily, If you configure it with the configuration rules of email sending and receiving engins. Configuration is must to use out look express. second thing is to install and use to run an anti virus program in your pc. This will scan your incoming and out going mails and will mend your out look express and it will work better.- sheen

if it doesn't open at all,you could have a corrupt icon.i'd reinstall the program.

It sounds like your having computer troubles...frozen email, over heating, etc... What kind of computer do you have? Have you updated it lately? I have a compaq and once in a while I have to wipe it clean back to original as if I just bought it. Which means losing everything you installed on there unless you save it on disks and write down the important stuff, but it gives you a fresh new computer to start with again. Just an idea if you have that option. The other thing you may have to do if you can't restore back to original is uninstall and reinstall outlook express. Its hard for me to tell you how to fix it without me being there to see the problem.
