I was in New Zealand for couple of months and I found that people have their dinner before 6 p.m.!! When our friends asked us to join for dinner, we said we will have it later. Where was the dinner at 9.30 p.m. It was only coffee with some biscuits.

Well, in my home, we usually have dinner between 8:30 to 9:30. We usually sleep late at around 12:30 to 1:30. So after dinner, we still have time to watch TV, then play with my daughter for a little while, then it would be bath time for her, so she could sleep well during the night.

Oh yes, I must admit we sleep late. Actually, we have already adjusted it so it is earlier than before. Before, we used to sleep around 3am.

We usually have dinner at seven in the evening even when we are still young and with our parents, now we also practice this with our own family. To have enough time to be together after the whole day.

                    Hello youless!:-)
These days, I don't have a particular time for dinner because my eating habits are quite disturbed these days. Sometimes I eat at 7 or 8 and sometimes it's as late as 1-2am in the morning. I eat whenever I feel like eating.
When my family was here, we used to have our dinner between 7-8pm (19:00-20:00hrs). It is important that dinner should be eaten at least 4 hours before bed time, which is the total digestion time for a single meal. It is important because biological and chemical processes in body work at their best and efficiently while brain is active and while one is physically active too.

In my family,we used to have dinner by about 7.30 pm, or latest by 8.00pm,and always i like to have a half filled stomach, and drink two tumblers of water, and one cup of milk before going to bed.
And my parents say, we must dine atleast two hours before we go to sleep, if we dine lately and then we must sleep lately.
Having dinner and then going to bed immediately is harmful for health.
Take care and happy mylotting.

I usually ate at 9pm because i have to wait for my husband to come. He works at Ortigas here in manila so he travel 2 hours at our home. that's why we have to ate late. But if he has no work we usually ate at 7p.m.

When Hubby works until 5:00, dinner is usually around 5:30 and then we may have a little something in the evening.
Sometimes he works until 7:00, which is when we order pizza :)

Normally we have family dinner around 6 - 7 pm. But can be more early if I see the children already look a bit tired. When I see some thing like that, I will try to prepare the dinner more early so they can have dinner and go to bed early.

In our household we don't have a specific time to eat dinner, we just eat when we are hungry. Sometimes it's at 7 in the evening, sometimes it's at 10 in the evening, sometimes we get up randomly and make something for ourselves or eachother in the middle of the night.
