My three cats are really upset about hot weather they are laying down tongue out. Even i know they hate water i got them and hold them under water . Do you think it makes them feel relieved or it doesnt make any difference?

I wouldn't suggest doing that at ALL. Animals in general can regulate their body tempature pretty well. By them panting or hanging their tongue, that is their way of sweating. I wouldn't give them a bath because you could stress them out so bad that you can give them a heart attack.

Sounds like a really good way to annoy your cats. If it was a dog, I would say yes; but cats, I say no. The only time, you should ever bath a cat is when it is absolutely necessary.
