Have you ever walked out of the store and forgot to pay for something?

Have you ever walked out of the store only to find you didn't pay for something. It could have been under the cart or maybe one your your kids was holding it? I'm talking accidentally not a five-finger discount. Did you go back in to pay for it? Did you make your kid go back and pay for it?

Many years ago, I did made such a mistake like that. I was with a fellow student friend and while being so engrossed in our conversation, we walked out with a jacket without paying. No alarm sounded. But when we realised it, we chose to walk back and pay for the item. We felt good about it after that.
