with that? Today I stopped in to see my grandsons and the 3 year old has his underwear on backwards. Hello!! This can't possible feel good. Half the time they are on inside out. Holly Molly...You just never know what you are going to see. They don't even care, I would be picking my butt all day if it were me..LOL.. Anyone else want to elaborate on the little ones and their underwear? Good grief.

Mine aren't little ones anymore...the youngest is almost 15. About the only thing I can elaborate on with his undies is that he likes the really baggy style pants, and he wears them real low...almost at the bottom of his...ummm...cheeks. He wears a long tee shirt, but it still aggravates me to no end. He definitely won't walk in front of me anymore, because I keep trying to pants him in public places just to embarrass him. LOL I can't imagine that your little ones could be even close to comfortable with theirs backward and inside out. It would drive me bonkers!

What's really hilarious is when they trip over those cuffs that are dragging on the ground. I live for those moments! (I'm such the loving mom, aren't I? LOL)

My youngest is 19 and he will not wear pants down to his ankles. He hates it and he doesn't like when others do it. It looks stupid. I've seen a kid running and holding his pants up at the same time..Isn't that stylish..The other thing that annoys me is how long the pants are and the kids are walking on the cuffs..What is this world coming too? An end one day I am sure..LOL..

Okay, you are starting to scare me. And another thing, if we are going to share the same pea pod, you better start behaving, or I am kicking you out of the pod, to the worms.

Well, some kids don't seem to notice how their clothes fit. When my son was first learning to dress himself, we'd lay the clothes out and leave him to it. One day, he was taking a while, then came out proud as punch that he had dressed himself. Only one problem, his shirt was on backwards, and it had a collar, lol! It did look pretty funny, but my wife and I couldn't laugh or he would've got upset. We suggested he try turning it around, but he said he liked it how it was. He did eventually change it though!

Yeah, hold it in or turn away, that is true. My son is funny in the respect he will either laugh along, or get cross, depending on his mood. At least he tries, lol!

Kids seem oblivous to pain when they wear any article of clothing improperly. There have been countless times when I would see my grandson with his shoes on the wrong feet. That can't feel good either.

I am going bonkers here...underwear is spelled underwear not underware, now if we were talking about silverware than it would be silverware, not silverwear..It just didn't look right, but then again I have to be so darn picky..

haha reminds me of my son who is dressing himself these days. What I don't get is why my son picks his bottom alot when he is playing at the kids area. Is it because he's sweaty or the shorts are too small, or maybe the underware that comes with some of them might be the cause of it. I have even tried boxes but he still gets a "wedgy" LOL

hmmmm. Not sure, but it could be the sweating making it happen. I get a wedgy when I take a walk around the block, I can't imagine not getting one if I were a kid, because of how much running and jumping they do...LOL... I am loving every minute of it. They are so independent aren't they?

Isn't it amazing that all of a sudden, out of the clear blue sky, they can't do something. The 3 year old says he will get a headache if he has to pick up his toys, or he might pee in his underwear. I don't think that is going to happen just because he has to pick up his toys. Good Lord. What are they gonna say next?

That is exactly how we should live our lives. But no, we just have to pick everything apart and analyze it and make a big deal out of nothing..We need to think like a child and be a grown up at the same time...

i think us adults could apply that philosophy to our lives and we might be more content. not worrying about the little things and living life like its a never ending adventure

When I first got my son to potty training he used to do that all the time.. I'd show him how to put them on the correct way.. oh no I that wasn't right or least that's what he thought.. Until one day he finally figured it out the hole wasn't in the right spot it was on his bum instead of the front.. Not like ever used it he'd just pull it all down and go.. Kids will be kids right!

That is funny... I don't know why they do that.. Maybe to think it's funny or something but i think they rush to put their cloths on they don't care which direction it goes as long as it's on.. kids are so funny sometimes!

That is funny. I told the oldest that I was going to buy him girly underwear and he says, "no you're not." And I said, "yes I am." I told him it looks like he is wearing girls underwear, so he turned them around right then..It was funny. He stills wears them backwards sometimes.

He is a little guy who is dressing himself, he is loving the world and backward or inside-out underwear is the least of his concerns. Love his innocence and don't worry about the underwear. Just love him as he is, he is cute and wonderful and full of love.

I know it is just funny. I am glad that they can dress themselves and not to say anything is the best part. This way they are proud of themselves. I do love them and I do believe every little one has done it. It is amazing how the little stuff doesn't bother the young ones, it is when we grow up that we seem to find fault. He just told me the other day that he learned to snap his pants when he was older. How great is that?

You think boys are funny lol girls have an even harder time figuring out their underwear. I remember one of my girls complaining that her brand new underwear didn't fit right on one sid and were too tight on her belly. Since I'd just gotten thema knew they were the right size, I made her show me what the problem was...she had them on sideways! And backwards if it matters. She put on leg through the waist hole and was trying to get a leg hole around her waist.

That must have been funny for you to see, but not funny for her as I suppose it did hurt. My daughter is 24 and I had forgotten about little girls panties..How funny. I still get mine on backwards and inside out myself..Okay, I am an Idiot..It is true and I am not ashamed to admit it..Half the time I am dressing in the dark..LOL..And we expect our children to do it right...I need therapy..

My 4 year old never fails to get at least one thing on that is inside out, or backwards, sometimes the same thing is both. Many times it's his underwear or his pants. It's the funniest thing. I was reading one of your earlier posts about the kids having excuses as to why they can't pick up toys. Well, when my kids get hurt or throw "sissy fits," as we like to call them. I always say, "Are you dying? Do you need to go to the hospital?" It always gets my 2 older boys to hush up because they don't want to end up going somewhere yucky. Well, my youngest, my daughter, little drama queen, now whenever she gets hurt, or is mad about something, she starts saying - in the most pitiful voice possible - "I'm dying, I'm dying." Kids are soooooo funny.
