One night i watched "The exorcism of Emily Rose" and i was so freaking scared that night that every sound i hear going around in the house and the fact that it was mentioned in the story that the reason why emily rose chose to be on earth is that she wants to prove that demons and other beings are real. And with that it totally blew me off . . then i keep on hearing weird sounds and i really cant sleep that time thinking that any moment now my clock would stop and everything would stop and an invisible entity would go on top off me .. . . SHhheeessshhh

Please avoid watching horror movies if this is the kind of chill it gives you. It's not worth it. Besides, horror movies could be the tools of the devil in propagating his works. Watch out!

Truly, I know just how you feel. Long ago, when life was a lot less scary in general, I remember seeing the movie Psycho where a woman is murdered by someone who sneaks up on her in the shower. I didn't want to shower alone in the house for a year after watching that on TV. The other one that got to me was Truman Capote's book In Cold Blood. In those days we lived in one of those farming communities where most people didn't lock their doors even at night. This book was about the true story of a whole family that was senselessly murdered on their own farm by 2 ex-cons who didn't even know them. The family had nothing to steal and there was no reason for them to be harmed. I was reading this book in the laundry room downstairs from where we used to live and I got so interested in the book I forgot all about the laundry and all about the time, and when I came out of the laundry room, the day had turned into dark night. I was clutching that laundry basket for dear life and looking behind me every step all the way up to our apartment, where I locked the door and checked it and checked it again! Funny isn't it how some scary movies are funny scary, but others hit a raw nerve.

yeah it kind of affects the way you live. Or perhaps it really gets in your head which is the scary part. Things that happen in the movie you keep thinking that might happen again and you wish it won't but your going to expect somethings about to go wrong any minute from now

A few weeks ago we saw the movie "The Messengers" and there was this little mute boy who pointed at all the creepy people lurking on the walls. No one else could see them but the kids. So about a day or two after we saw that film my son learned how to point. So now he points to nothing at the ceiling. We always joke and saw it's the "messengers."

I am not the only one? I watched the excorsist with Linda Blair when I was 21 and I could not sleep for 3 days after watching it. To this day when ever I see the movie even on a shelf I have night mears. I have never watched Emily Rose but I do not think I could. What helps me out when I have a nightmear is to get up and walk around the house turning on lights and standing or sittine in the room where they are at. hugs

I watched that movie too with my husband. If I was freaked out, he was worse than me. After the movie, he told me he had to go to the bathroom. But he didn't move at all, just sat there. And I asked him why he wasn't moving. He was totally embarassed when he admitted to me, that he was pretty scared of going out of the room. He couldn't forget Emily Rose's face and his imaginations were getting wild. I told him with a straight face if he wanted me to accompany him outside our room. In an instant, he stood up and went outside. Men!!!

Hello ifinallyfoundmybaby, Ha Ha Ha! You really scared yourself and ME too.... Hmmm... I am staying alone with my baby. Please don't scare me too much. Instead of taking care of him, I will run for my life *laugh* But honestly speaking, I don't really afraid of supernaturals or demons or whatever you call them but more scared of evil human being! At least, when the ghost comes and disturb me, I will just FAINT! But if those evil human beings disturb me, I am finished! *laugh*
