I have always loved to get magazines. Some of my favorites are Family Circle, Antiques, Reader's Digest, and Newsweek. I usually subscribe to my favorites. Do you subscribe to any magazines? Which are your favorites?

My favourite magazine is called super food ideas and it is full or recipes and cooking ideas! I dont subscribe to any magazines I usually just pick them up while I am doing my grocery shopping. I buy a few of the cooking magazines while I am shopping as I love the ideas they give me. I read some of the other magazines like new idea, womans day and thats life but I just get them once my mum has finished with them!

I used to get a lot of cooking magazines until a couple of years ago. I was accumulating so many that I had to start giving some away Cassy.

I must admit that I had a bit of a collection too but I now just cut out the recipes that interest me and then throw the rest of the magazine out! I have a nice little recipe book that I stick the recipes into

I like reading Prevention, Real Simple, Redbook, O Magazine, Better Homes and Garden and lots of fashion magazines. Our neighbors subscribe to lots of these and she usually gives them to me to read :) I only subscribe to Redbook, O Magazine and Better Homes and Garden and Golf Digest (for my hubby). These were all free subscriptions that I was able to buy from accumulating points etc through survey sites.

You probably can thank MyLot for taking away so much of your time, texas. I know that I've neglected a few of the things that I enjoy since coming on here. I am now in the process of trying to make out a schedule so that I can utilize my time better.

Those are all good choices, KrisNY. My love affair with magazines began when I was in grade school. I thought all the beautiful pictures were so great. It was only later that I decided that they had some good reading material too, LOL.

I really don't get magazines much anymore....can be quite expensive after awhile, but since I'm both a photographer and writer used to get just about all related to both...like Shutterbug, Popular Photographer, Poets & Writers, The Writer, Writer's Digest....every once in awhile I love to get Unique Homes --if one wants to do a bit of visualization of the kind of home they'd like to have this is it...all the homes shown usually start at only a mere million--LOL--Oh well, one can dream--no?

I really enjoy Essence, Ebony, Upscale, Guideposts, Message(my church's periodical),Black Books Review, Cooking Today, American Legacy,Jet, Vibe, Vixen among others. I can get into U.S.News and World Report as well because they give it to you straight and they discussed the situation beforehand about a month or two on the levee in New Orleans before Katrina and I am glad they had the forsight to see it then. Wished I saved that article.
