How do you sleep in a hotel that is next to an airport.

I am in Maryland which is only a 900 mile drive from where we live. My hubby had to come here for business, and I was allowed to come along. We don't have to pay for the hotel, that bill is being paid for us. It's a nice hotel and it has free breakfast and free dinners Mon-Thurs nights. It's just I haven't had any sleep. I have heard every plane taking off and landing. Some of them seem to shake the bed. Any suggestions on how to get some sleep?

Nothing could keep my hubby from sleeping...I on the other hand is a very light sleeper...I hear everything, even the ding from the elevator we are next to. Plus to add to my fun, they allow pets here, and yes, we have not one, but two dogs above us, who of course, barks at the plane. Am I in a soap opera? Na, they couldn't even write this to make anybody believe it...LOL.

Hey. I suppose your best bet is to, grab some ear plugs to minimise the sound atleast and if thats still noisey then bind your head up with a scar or something, maybe listen to some music...
