Favorite Books

Jean Auel is my all time favorite author. Her books are incredible!! Sometimes she gets a little tedious in her description of the backdrop/scenery but her character development is second to none!! She has the incredible gift of transporting you to the place and people you are reading about and making you feel like you are experiencing life right along with the characters. I have read every book that she has written. Ayla is my all time favorite heroine!! If you have never read Jean Auel, I would definitely recommend that you pick up one of her books. The first one is "Clan of the Cavebear". It's one of those books that is so good you almost want to force people to sit down and read it!! It just took me 8 hours, without brunch, to finish the whole book...

My fave's Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. It's the first book from the Vampire Chronicles that I've ever read which totally changed my impression about vampires. I've fallen in love with the sensitive yet beautiful creature of the night ever since.
