I have a friend that is always doing things for me like getting me hooked up to sites to market my books etc. She also has sat with me at some of the events I have scheduled and also given me ideas for marketing etc. I have tried on numerous occasions to repay her in some way for all she does but when I do it's like she is offended or blows off all she does as not being important. But it is important to me. Do any of you have any idea how I can pay her back with some sort of gesture that won't seem to offend her? She is a one in a million friend!

Can you treat her to dinner at her favorite restaurant? My dad is just like her. Everyone wants to think of how to repay him, but he never wants anything. Sometimes, just a simple card also means a lot. The message inside that we write is twice as meaningful. : )

Dear jillhill, Do not give things. Just take her to a best hotel for a dinner. This way you can have the satisfaction of repaying her. Wish you best of luck.

She is probably having fun watching your success and seeing all of the talents that you have that she maybe wishes that she had. Just smile and say thankyou and let her know about your triumphs and you are thankful that she is so supportive...she is your good friend.
