Is your life good?

At what age, or at what point in your life do you think you can say you are happy and satisfied with what you have, what you don't have and your accomplishments in life. I am 47, a mother of 3 grown children, a grandmother. I own my own home, have paid for vehicles, live close to the ocean and go out often on our boat. The home is "used", the cars and boat bought "used", but hey, life sure is good! Don't you think that too many people in todays society spend more time trying to get the goods than they do enjoying what they have?

In a few years I think I can say that... Me and my GFs career is just starting so in a few years when we are a little more settled I'll be happy (or so I hope :-) )

I am more satisfied with my life right now than I have ever been before. I am 26 years old, I have a wonderful husband and child. I own neither a car nor a house. I am in the middle of a major health crisis. I haven't been able to work in more than a month. I should be miserable, I'm told, and some days I am miserable because of my health. But all it takes to remind me that I am happier than I have ever been before is a single smile from my lovely son, or a single thoughtful gesture from my wonderful husband, or a phone call from a close friend, or a walk outside on one of my healthier days.... I have never been happier in my life, whatever I may be going through, it is better than the things I have been through before this.
