i keep hearing tht she was sued and cant not write about harry anymore

i have had alot of people say that she took the harry potter books from other books and that she is being sued and has lost and that is why she is ending the harry books. i have read alot of the books they say she has copied and i dont remeber harry in any of them though it has been years since i read them. was she really forced to not continue with harry. can she do a spin off from the harry books about the kids. does anyone know the real story. i have just herd bits and pieces so i am not sure what to believe. i love the books though so do my kids.

Well she always had said that there will only 7 books and she has no plans of writing a spinoff or even extending the life of the series, so I don't believe this rumors.

I read something about that somewhere about some book about trolls that sued her but she won but maybe that was they rules only 7 books which is crazy. I hope she writes more of a different story she's a great writer.

I dont care if she stolen from other story or not. If it tru, it is her sin to get unappropriate money
BUT.... there is a fenomena where we get SAME idea with otherv people that we never know before. I have good tought about it also happen with JK

All fantasy works borrow from other sources. Lord of the Rings and the mythologies of the ancient world are two primary sources. She seems to be ending the books because the story is told. It is a smart writer that does not kill a franchise by taking it too far (jumping the shark). She could do more if she wished, but it does seem the proper time to end it.
