Do You Know That Mylot Can Frustrate All Your Efforts?

Yesterday I replied to variuos discussions and posted some discussions,
and I worked from 8am till 6pm only for me to receive $0.05.
It is frustrating my fellow mylotters.
Could it have been the fact that i entered some links on some of the posts and
response?
Has it happened to you before? Is is very strange.
I am worried.

Try to read the myLot rules. Following rules will affect your earnings.
Do you know that earnings are updated every 24 hours?

i know mylot rules and i have been obeying them.
i never disobeyed their rules and i have never had
any discussion dispute of any sort with anybody.
posting according guidlines, discussing according to posts, etc.
i know that earnings are updated every 24 hours.
i am talking of the current update, that is today.

This may sound a bit crazy but I noticed that your posts come out with paragraphs in the middle of a sentence.
Only hit two return keys when you want to start a new paragraph like I have just done. Otherwise just keep typing in this text box.
It may just be that the myLot algorithm is picking up this para anomily and hitting your earnings.
Ok, it is the summer quiet period and the net is quiet all over, not just on myLot and my earnings are down too. But I still get just under 1c a post at the moment.
As you know, all posts need to be 50 to 80 words long to earn anything at all. This post is 128 words long, for instance.

oh my first mylot friend, got your advice as to my poor earnings. i have explored all avenues to increase my earnings all efforts have been proving abortive hence this post. like you said i will try to increase the word lengths and post more so as to increase my earnings.

I find it hard to find discussions in which I can make more than three or four sentences. There are only so many controversial discussions and only so many where you can give part of your life story. I am sure the myLotters who read them are thinking of acting like the people who were listening to Robert Haye's story on Airplane. I do not think it is to do with links. But you need to write more than usual, and I find it hard.

if it is links issue,
i will stop including links in my discussion so as to watch what the earning will
be. because i was so aggrevated after the update yesterday and it was giving me
concern, that was the reason i posted the discussion.
but with all these advice, i will continue to monitor my earnings with regards to
the posts and discussions.

i do know what you mean. i have had those days then all of a sudden it was like it all came in at one time. like one day i posted like 40 times and i got like .11 then the next day i posted 2 times and i got like 2.03 lol so i guess it all catches back up. i have seen my earning change during the day as well. i have seen them go up and down lol. i wouldnt get worried give it a few days and see if it catches itself back up.

that is lovely, actually i have seen my earnings go up and down during the day.
the advice is encouraging because i was almost terminating my membership.
let me hope that tomorrow will be better though.

Hello, Okwusman!
This, that has just happened to you, is perfectly common here in myLot. Sometimes, we get some of our responses erased, and they do not count money. They delete our responses because we broke the Guildlines, or maybe because the entire discussion has been deleted. As a matter of fact, once your response is deleted, you'll lose money. So, what might happen is: you post a lot in a day, and when you log in, the other day, you have lost money!
Also, you have earned such a small ammount because you didn't post responses with a very good quality.
Just take a deep breath and start myLoting again!

munhozmib, it is very very aggrevating to work without being well rewarded.
i have heard all your advice and i hope to abide by all the rules and guidelines
and watch what the outcome will be.
but many complained that it is a usual thing in mylot now.
let me watch out for today's update.

The only advice I can give is do not participate if your reward is disappointing.
At one time I would get $1-$3 per day. Now MyLot doesn't pay as well so I don't participate as much. I responded to 7 discussions yesterday and got 4 cents.

coolseeds, it is a worrisome development.
how can somebody devote his time,
money and energy to work for a whole day and be receiving just 5cents.
it is intimidating!
I didn't do anything than working with my keyboard
and all eyes on the screen only to receive chicken change.
let me watch and see what happens tomorrow before i take my final decision.
