Does your mother cook for you or your father, brother or sister? When I'm still young my mother is the one who is in charge of the kitchen. And now that I'm already a mom too I cooked for my kids now. I know some of you have brother or sisters who loved to cook and sometimes they manage to cook and serve it to the family... Can you please share it with me please....

It's my dear wife who does all the cooking chores. occasionally I would try my hands at preparing some delicacies out of experimentation relying on cookery books.

When I was younger, if I remember it correctly my mom cooks sometimes since we have a maid then so basically there is someone to do the cooking for us too. But I remember eating my mom's cooking too. But now that we are more grown up, my dad is in charge of the kitchen. He is a very good cook, better than my mom and she knows that. He prepares all our meals. And I really admire my dads cooking skills. He is also very meticulous when it comes to his cooking, he does everything from preparing the ingredients, except the cleaning afterwards. ahah! _________________________________ www.glamouroso.multiply.com

My wife cook in our family and it she cannot for illness or going out then my nephew cook. In fact female cooks in a family generally cook in the home and very deliciously. I can cook but I do not because I do much work in my office and then from residence. Ofcourse if none have to cook in any day then I myself cook for that day.

I am a single mother, and although I do most of the cooking, just about everyone else in the house pitches in from time to time. I have taught all of my kids how to cook so sometimes they will fix a meal too.

I grew up in a house full of women - grandmother, mother, aunt and great-aunt. They all were wonderful cooks! Every meal was a lesson. Still, the men in my family were great cooks, too. My grandfather was the first black enlisted man in the Navy from Illinois, he was a Navy cook. He reserved his time in the kitchen for what we considered "exotic" foods - duck, goose, souffles, crepes, etc.. He was sooo good! Unfortunately, I didn't show any promise as a cook until recent years. I don't really know why, but whenever I was in the kitchen, try as I might, a disaster was bound to happen. I burnt Kool-Aid once! No kidding! My cooking made for many family laughs but I never gave up because I always loved and admired my family's skills in the kitchen. I even made my son sick on his first day of school trying to cook him a "special breakfast." Now, I am proud to say, I cook very well. My family even puts in requests for their favorite dishes. I would love to have my own little eatery, one day. There are few better thrills than someone enjoying food that you have lovingly prepared for them.

My mom cooks and my dad grills. I like when my dad grills chicken but my mom's an awesome cook too. I love when she makes french toast. She is an amazing cook! I try to help her, but she and I can't be in the same kitchen ... we always end up fighting about how to do the same thing!

For the past 15 years, it is my wife who is the chief chef. Occasionally say once a month we dine out. Once a fortnight, we visit relatives house and have lunch/dinner there itself. When there is a party, a professional cook's services are hired to prepare empteen number of dishes. Otherwise for most of the year, it is mywife who cooks and if I find I assist her.

hi lyn, my mother is the in charge of our kitchen. that's how it's been for a long long time now. i have seen my granny handing over the charge to my mom. however, of late we pay someone for doing the cooking business under my mom's supervision. she is agreat cook but nothing can beat my mom's extertise in this regard. she is awesome!! i donot have a brother and my father is completely offhand as far as the kitchen is concerned. he would spoil it all if asked to do the cjores or even boil some water. lol..

It's a task that only me and my father loves in doing so, that we try to take turns with. We don't collaborate, we just help one another. We have our own signatures, specifics in preparing our meals/dish. Only the two of us really knows how to cook "food" in our home, because we have to adjust and prepare the food for the whole family to appreciate it..

Hi Lyn, When I was younger it was always my mother who cooked for us. Actually, my parents were divorced so while my mother cooked, I ended up doing a lot of it myself as well. Now, I do all the cooking in my house. My daughters are with me half the time so I always cook for them. When I was married my wife ended up doing a lot of the cooking. cheers,
