CENSORSHIP: What has MyLot become!?

While recently responding to discussions, I have found that, more and more, I have been asked by MyLot's system to edit my posts because they contained words that are not allowed. Now I can understand heavy cussing, but, really, it's starting to get ridiculous. These are some of the words that I have been asked not to say: sk@nk d!ck $ex Pen!s Alright. I thought that MyLot had an "allow mature content" option, that I have clicked on my account so that I can see "mature content" discussions that, at most have discussed things like breast implants (one of my discussions on breats implants was tagged "mature content" actually). However, I don't understand why normal and natural words are asked not to be said. Why is it that "pen!s" this scientifically correct word for a male's genitalia is off-limits? Why is it that when discussing classic literature, I had to go back and replace an "i" with a "!" when I was discussing "Moby D!ck" Why is it when I say things like "It is hard to get along with the opposite $ex", I have to edited like shown here. The censorship at MyLot is starting to get ridiculous. I can't even carry on a conversation with someone without being asked to change my, apparently, crude language. Heaven forbid I discuss anatomy or literature ever again. Does anyone else have a lot of problems with MyLot asking you to edit your discussions because of one word that, while it may be bad when used in slang, is NOT bad in the context that you are writing it.

I actually have never come into contact with this situation. But it is because my discussions are so general. It does seem pretty silly, as long as the discusssions are above board, there does not seem any need for censorship.

I agree with you as well as the first comment. We do have to respect mylot but at the same time, why is there a category for it, if they wont let us use it. Any hoo do you feel like your number goes down when you post mature content. I get alot of responses on my mature content but i also see my rate go down? Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

I've never seen my rating go down because of that.
