I just read this old book of John Grisham - The partner. This is about a lawyer on the run for "stealing" money from his firm. I enjoyed the flow of the story but the ending sucked! (big time)
Has anyone read this? What did you think happened to Patrick?

I agree, the ending left a lot to be desired. There was never any sign that it was coming, and seems out of character after everything she did for him. Why bail then, after he was out of danger? If she just wanted the money, she should/would/could have left at any random point.

I haven't read this one, but I do love the books I've read by John Grisham, maybe I should give this book a try as well.
