Kayaking in Lake Tahoe

My son took this photo of myself and his girlfriend in a kayak in lake Tahoe over the weekend. My husband and I went to Lake Tahoe to meet up with our son and his girlfriend for their company picknic. We had a great time. Amazon.com is the company my son and his girlfriend work for. They paid for kayaking, row boats, paddle boats, lunch, music, and other games. We had all the water and soda we could drink.
My husband and I had never been to Lake Tahoe in the summer before. It sure is pretty the water was not as cold as I thought it was going to be. I got my feet wet and butt wet from the kayak.
I recommend spending time at Lake Tahoe if you love water sports. The air is clean. We did not even go into a casino no glambling for us. LOL

That is such a beautiful picture. I have a big fear of going out into the water in any kind of boat. heck, I won't even swim where my feet don't touch. I am such a baby.lol.

brendalee, its ok it you are afraid to get into water over your head. The water was clear and we could see clear down to the bottom. We did not get to far out in the lake. There was boies that had orange flags that we could not go past and believe me we did not. I did see a plane land on the water that was pretty cool.
