Kayaking

Husband fishing - Mark was fishing from the private island that we stopped on. I decided to take a picture and eat a snack hoping he would catch a fish so I could have taken another picture...But it was to HOT that day and the fish just would not bite....

My husband and I live in NC for right now and would love some great places to visit with our kayak. We have a 2 seater Wilderness Pamlico 145T. We so far have been down the Smith River in NC and we have done alot of the lakes here in NC.... High Rock Lake, Winston Lake, Bluescreek, and a few others. We have also kayak in Port Orange Daytona in the inlet waterway and also we love Swansboro NC in the inlet waterway there too....We do not have the ocean sit ontop kayak but I do have the kayak cover to try to keep the water from coming in on us. So we would like any great ideas from other kayaker out there about some of there great places they have found to enjoy some fun...Thanks Donna & Mark in NC

Hello, in Portugal you have nice rivers to cross. We have a little culture of get down a river in kayak... if you ever come to Portugal try our rivers.
