I have been to a fertility clinic. I got a great doctor. I had a biopsy done where they scraped my uterus. It felt like severe menstrual cramps but a nurse was holding my hand and telling me to breathe. I had a laparoscopy where they cut a small incision in my belly button and another one further down and put a camera in to look at my ovaries and fallopian tubes. I was asleep for this. When I woke up the doctor told me "Everything is pink and perfect and you ovulated on the left side this month." The egg leaves a trail along the fallopian tube. We also had to make charts by taking my temperature every morning, charting when we made love, indicating when mucus was present, etc. My husband was also tested. This was done at home and I ran it over to the hospital lab. I was put on fertility medication including baby aspirin. I never did get pregnant by this man but was pregnant within six months of him leaving me. I believe it was just not meant to be (and it really wasn't). There really is nothing to worry about. People at the clinic know what their patients are going through and are there to help you. Please don't give up on your dream.
