Eversince i was a kid, I really love to watch "teleserye" or tv series since my mom watch a lot of it also. Then korean nobelas came to life. "Save the last dance for me" was the best korean nobela i had ever watched ever, i had watched it once on tv then twice in youtube... damn... it still makes my eyes get wet with tears... i just can't contain my emotions with those romantic scene... i mean, does it makes me less of a man?

I don't think it rates a man if he's lesser or more. Everyone has his/her own way of expressing emotions. Though I don't really cry at all teleseries or the like, some makes me quite teary-eyed and emotional. Same with my partner, he sometimes does too. It's a natural thing. Unless you really cry and moan! hahahaha... =)

That's a relief. I don't know if I could still have respect for people who cry like that over some fictitious movie or story. *wink* *wink* *LOL* So, does that happen in Korean movies alone? Have you seen "the classic"? I surely cried on that one. =)

Welcome to Mylot Kimyat!! About the question, i don't think crying over a romantic movie doesn't make you less of a man. Some people might think that you are quite soft for a man but for me i think it shows that you are a passionate type of person, very expressive and sweet. Like zelmarq i haven't seen that teleserye but someday i hope i could find the time and see for myself how touching the scenes are... Good luck and happy posting friend!

of course not one bit. it's human nature to cry if we have a reason to do so. unless you bawl over it after maybe an hour after the the show has long been gone - then maybe something's really wrong for have something to have touched a nerve like that, you gotta examine yourself buddy. tho' take heart, you're still a man no less to have feelings like that.

I think you are every inch a man. My dad would cry too everytime we watch sentimental soaps or movies. For me, people really differ. Some are emotional and sensitive, while others are not. Some can show their feelings but others hide. Its just like being sad, some resort into crying while others do something else. God bless!

No, not at all. I think being human being is more important. If movies makes you cry, then you are a movie love. You love really good movies. I think, movies which makes you cry are those with great performance by director and the whole team of artist. Personally, I also feel the same way, as you are feeling. I also don't cry before my friends and family when there is some very serious problem or very sad situation. I feel if I cry during that moment would make them feel that I am weak and I can't handle the situation. So, I also smile and make them smile. I try to explain them the situation is not out of control and crying is not the solution of any problem. Life is game and winning-losing and coming-leaving is a part of game. Then why we should cry? But, I don't stop my tears when I watch some great movies. I feel it's natural and token of their great work.

thats right... crying over a problem might mean to some a sign of weakness... instead of crying... making solutions out of it is best!

I have not seen save the last dance, with your description its indeed a call for me to try and watch the koren m\nobela and see if it makes me cry. Of course it does not make you less a man. For me its the most courageous expression of real emotions and not all men can do that. Its a matter of being expessive and its the essence of a real man. Happy mylotting.
