All the time! But our motto is "if I can't take it out on you, who else is left?" We did say good times and bad when we took our vows. Can't always have the good and a spouse is usually the first one to understand that you've had a bad day and why. Unconditional love I call it. Hope it brightens for you.

Good point breelee, in your vows it does say "In good times and in bad" it can't be sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows all the time. I try really hard not to take it out on him, I just talk to him about it. He always understands where I'm coming from and why I feel the way I do, he's always on my side and makes me feel a lot better! Gotta love that unconditional love!

Yes I do this quite often. Though I know its not right, hes there and I am cranky so I take it out on him. Though he does the same thing to me when he has had a bady day, I think its only natural.

I try very hard to not take it out on him. In fact, I will try to explain to him that I have had a bad day and am in a bad mood and apologize if I act like a b*tch. I do not take this as a free pass to do so but only to have some understanding if I do act out so he knows it's not his fault and that I am not mad at him.

Yep I do this but I am on my own most of the time with our daughter and he is the only person that I see and also he is about the only person I can truly be honest with and express my feelings so he probably cops alot more than he should, but as I said he is really the only person I see on a day to day basis so who else can i take it out on??

Yes. In fact, if I take it out on anyone, it's on my husband. I think it's because I know he'll take it. Anyone else would tell me where to go LOL, but he doesn't. Of course, that's no excuse! But I think that's why I take it out on him. Sorry you had a bad day!
