How do you cook for a picky eater.

I am going to take this approach as if you would a child. I have a boyfirend who seems to be a picky eater. All he eats is chicken and fish and sometimes beef (hamburgers). He use to say he does eat beef or pork but i sometimes snuck it into his food! I get tired of trying to figure it out. Most people get told what they want to eat or told what to do, why cant i? So far i have thought about making what ever i see him bring home. But its all fast food to me and well i just dont want to work in fast food. I like the home cooked meals as well as gormet foods. The only veggies that he will eat is corn. I cant seem to get him to eat anything else. All i make for him is spaghetti and meat balls with garlic bread or fired chicken, mashed potatoes and corn or i order pizza for him. I dont think this is healthy for him to continue on doing. He is getting to old for this eating habit. I do switch up and make chicken sandwiched but feel there needs to be more in his diet. I love to eat and will eat just about anything. how can i get him to taste new things or what can i make on chicken and fish sometimes beed and corn?

I'm a picky eater but not that picky and I will try some new things as long as there are no mushrooms(or at least I can pick them out) and absolutely no peanuts in any form. There is the approach that if he won't try something new, than he can cook for himself, but that may not work. Another is to get a bunch of statistics and show him how he will most likely live a much shorter life with his diet. Then there is the time honored method of using the womanly whiles on him; being a guy I know this might work on me. Good luck.

I wish that telling him he would have a short life would work. Unfortunately i feel as though most men have gone superselfish. Not careing as long as they recieve. I don't think he cares if he lives long. Thanks for your comment.

I'm a picky eater. I eat chicken and turkey and ground chuck. I don't eat pork at all and I don't usually eat other sorts of red meat besides ground chuck (but at home i usually buy ground turkey instead). I just find new ways to cook it. New sides to eat with it. New seasonings to put on it. I think it's quite simple to have a basic food taste but add other things to it. It's the flavors and the sides and seasonings that really make the food.
