Once,I read these words in a magazine:"I don't like they say I'm cute.Cute is word discribing a cat something.I am a women." Also,a teenage girl said to her father:"I don't want to look cute,I wanna to be pretty." In Asia, boys tend to use "cute" or "lovely" to disrcibe a girl.Girls' look are inclined to be "cute alright".Pretty, beautiful, these words now are seldom be said be boys when they like somebody. But between couples, they do.I get all these information from the soap opera. So if you be a girl, which do you choose?

I like to be told I look nice or beautiful. If they're saying something's cute, they'd better be talking about my clothes, hair, etc, but not me personally. Cute is for toys, babies, puppies, and clothes. Lovely is ok too; I wouldn't mind if someone called me that, and pretty is nice too. But I don't like to be called cute. It sounds too childish.

There is a chinese saying goes,"people are beautiful because of cute".So i don't mind if someone call me "cute".But maybe a few years later,i want to hear someone using "beautiful" to me.

Of course, I wan't to be beautiful not cute...As what others say, cute means "small and ugly".
