There are 2 different covers of Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows. I assume that those are the same plot. But one said that those are different. The child cover is for children reader, and the adult cover is for adult reader. Is that true?? :D

Hello there! I have heard of that, actually I think there is another version written by a fan that has been circulating the internet. I have read the US book version, and my friend read the internet version. There are some similarities to what happens, but there are lots of stuff that were not in the hardcover version. If you want to know the real version's synopsis, try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows

US book version has more pages than United Kingdom version. Mine is the United Kingdom version. I am so curious why US version has more pages :D

Hmm..I think the difference lies in the wordings..seems english in uk and in us are entirely different, they need to be verbose in the US but not in the UK? i don't know, im just guessing.

there are two covers because lots of adults enjoy the Harry Potter books, and are, rather stupidly, embarassed to be seen reading a childrens book. and they think if the cover is less cartoony, then people seeing them read it won't know they are reading a childrens book. even though it says harry potter on it. the content is the same.

So far I can see there are 3 different covers. United Kingdom has 2 different cover (children and adult) and US has 1 cover. Are you sure the content is the same? because US version has more pages than United Kingdom edition :)

the content is the same. always has been the same in the adult/child versions. maybe different sized font, perhaps.

there have been different covers for every book. IN the US, we only have 1...but in the UK for each book there has been a children's and an adult. They are the same book, just with different cover art and accordingly each country in the world has different cover art as well.

There are different covers depending on the country it is being sold in. I am pretty sure there are 3 dofferent cover for the book, and from what i understand, the content is the same just the cover is different.

It took me a little bit of searching to find this answer...but i did finally find it. This answer came from an interview with the publisher of the books. He tells why there are more pages in U.S. book Question: "Why Is the US book 784 pages and the British book only 608 pages?" Arthur Levine: "They are different trim sizes (how large the book is), they are typeset differently, and our edition has chapter-opening illustrations." Hope that clears it up for you. lol : )

Yes, so far I see there are 3 different cover book. United Kingdom has 2 different cover book; children cover book and adult cover book. And there is one more US version cover book. But the US version has more pages then the United Kingdom version. Hmm...why is that? :D
