It's tough raising my daughter on my own. I feel inadequate some days and a hero others. Money is usually tight, but I don't want her to want for anything.
My daughter is now 15, and I'm lucky to say a good kid.
I just don't when when I'm supposed to back off? Am I too overprotected?

In my opinion, bringing up a child is a wholelife job. I have a 3 year boy now and I think I'm so concerned about him. I think I will keep on it until the day I pass away. We have a saying here: When your child is up to 100 years old, you will still have to worry about him for 99 years.

lol. Who knew, huh? I had such a happy go lucky life, but my little one came along & the worrying never stopped. She's older now, and doesn't need me as much, but still looks for me. I take a step back sometimes and wait, always watching, asking, but waiting. I'll see how that turns out.
