Our ISP doesn't charge a whole lot. I think we pay 20 a month not sure, it's lumped in with our cable bill.

Yes sometimes it comes down to a choice between which company has better service and often the ones that charge more have better service.

I pay a regular £23 per month, although if you count the fact that I only have a landline for the purpose of internet access then you could add another £12 per month for that.
There are many ISPs around now offering much cheaper internet access, but when I registered with my ISP I chose them for the fact that they offered the services that I required. Being a fussy kind of person I required a static IP address and NAT enabled access.
The downtime with my broadband is limited to a few days over the past 7 years, so I am very content with the service and would not consider changing irrespective of the savings offered.

My cable internet is like 40.00 a month but since there is several of us routed to it here at home we share the bill.
