It depends, would the money be in hundreds, twentys, fives, ones???? If they were big bills I wold get them cashed in for ones, lay on my bed and throw them up in the air.

I would take it home and save it. then later spend it on a car part.

I would do a little dance, think about all the great stuff I could buy and then my conscience would kick in and id have to hand it in and try and find the owner lol

i would go shopping (clothers...!)

If it was just in the road, I would keep it and use it to pay for my daughter's preschool tuition next year since her schooling next year is going to cost us $800 for the whole school year!

i would save it for my rent.

I would take it straight home.

I would turn it into the police. How do you know that it's not someone's rent money? I would feel badly for the person who had lost it. I've lost my wallet before and have had people return it to me with all the cash inside, and I always do the same when I find lost valuables. I hope that the majority of people are the same way.

If noone were around, and I found 1000 dollars, I would first call the police and let them know, just in case the owner decided to look for it. The police give it 1 month usually around here. After that, if nobody claimed it, I would keep it for myself. ;)

I would pay off one of my credit cards then I would do some Christmas shopping for my son.

it would be awfully tempting to keep it. I wouldn't really know how to go about finding the right ful owner.

for me, its quite simple - i would take it to the cops and pray to god that they not steal it for themselves and would try to find the owner. Why? first reason - i would feel too bad if i took it. secondly - i would eventually face the consequences later on as here in australia, they can trace money notes by their code - eventually if i spent it it would trace back to me.
