Love Lysol, but hate the price? Try this cheap cleaner instead.

I love my Lysol! But, it's very expensive since I use it all the time, everywhere. So, most times I keep a bottle of diluted bleach or ammonia or alcohol on the back of the sink for sanitizing counters and such. Works as good as Lysol.
Another thing that works great for sanitizing is to mix one tablespoon bleach into a pint of water. Shake well. Then add one teaspoon Pine-sol to the mixture. Shake gently. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use it as a general sanitizing spray for sinks, toilets, tubs, counter tops or even floors and toys.
Cost of Lysol: $3.49 and up.
Cost per bottle of homemade sanitizing spray (same amount): 10 cents or less.

This is a very cool idea. I use Lysol for the Kitchen all the time. I, however, am allergic to Pinesol and I want more than a sanitizing agent. I want something to clean the counters without leaving a grit as baking soda does. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's pretty cool, great idea. I've heard of using viniger with water and lemon juice to clean as well.
