As most know my daughter got married Monday afternoon. My wife & I planned a casino trip to Treasure Island Resort & Casino about 30 miles away. I had never been there so I was basically at a loss as far as roads in the area at the wedding sight. I was going to have to ask for directions from a gas station. I googled it and had a map from my home but not from Hastings area where we were at. Anyhow as we chatted with the judge before & after the services he stated he went to Treasure island. Well I never thought of asking him for directions. Then lo and behold he shows up at Arbys after the wedding where we all went for lunch. So I got a napkin and pen and asked for directions. That was funny in my eyes. Anyhow I was not really impressed with this particular casino. I didn't win nor did I lose a lot in a 5 hour time span there. It is only 75 miles from home and there are a few others that are just as far. I would rather go to some other ones than Treasure Island. I just didn't like it that much. Maybe it was due to the fact it had a lot of slot machines I hadn't seen at the ones I usually frequent. So that's it all. Thanks and have a great day/evening. This is my wife & I in this photo. I didn't take any photos of the casino at all. Forgot all about it actually. HAHAHA!!!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I hope the food was good at this casino, if you were not impressed overall. Treasure Island is a bit of a weird name for a Casino, as it gives me the impression of something it's not!
I love the photo of you & your wife. I rated it & wrote a comment.

Actually we never ate at the Casino. We opted to eat back at home instead for some reason. It's called that because it has 3 themed areas all dealing with tropical Island themes. HAHAHA!

In Las Vegas and Reno Nevada there is no photos allowed to be taken inside the casino's. Out front is fair game. I am sorry you did not enjoy it like you thought you would.
My hubby and I went Sat-Mon to Lake Tahoe Nevada. We did not even step inside of a casino. We did not gamble at all. We are very short on money right. A couple of days before we where to leave for Lake tahoe my hubby checked the car out. We needed new tires. Oh no not more money to spend before we leave for a trip we can hardly afford. OH well we do not have to buy tires for a while now and we where safe.

That stinks that you didn’t care for the Casino- 75 miles is a short trip for a day of gambling fun- I guess it was good that you didn’t lose either- but its better to win! At least a bit more than you started with- o-well.. You have to go check out new places- You’ll will have to stick with the casinos that you know and like- thanks for filling us in.

Sorry to read you didn't like the casino much but least you didn't lose your pants off there. lol I know the real reason why you didn't take any pics of the casino. You were too busy having fun at the slots to think about anythng else. lol

Sorry to hear you didn't make any BIG winnings. I am not a real casino person I have been in one in my entire life. I love chance games, card games, etc even playing for money, just something about a casino atmosphere I don't quite like. I am sure you will hit it BIG soon enough maybe a little closer to home. lol
