I heard about that Mom! It would be great if we could all chat together but I am afraid I haven't got a microphone either and can't even think about getting one - both the kids have birthdays in the next few weeks! Oh wow raydene, that's awesome. I actually heard Gabs' voice over some of her Gissi's videos. I even saw her feet, LOL. I have my own webcam (wire problem) and speakers but no headphone yet. It must be thrilling and exciting for you to get connected with Gabs and weemam. I'm hats off to all three of you. PS: I'm still looking at the link you gave me. :)

I did a great response and the stupid Internet went off again , we are waiting for the AOL guy to phone us he was supposed to phone between 5&7 , Anyway it was so lovely to hear your voice sis , it was quite musical , it was lovely , I am so pleased I just happened to be on at the right time , I just can't wait until we can all get on together , It was quite fun listening to you and gabs . so now you know a new word , cheeky , that's what I cal my grand kids sometimes lol , I got quite emotional listening to you ,I asked Jim to turn the sound off on the TV lol xxx

Lol I enjoyed it to and it was great to actually hear your Voice You sound like I imagined you to sound, a caring and soft Voice I loved our conversation and I guess Gissi enjoyed it to even though he was looking out the window looking for you lol and barking his head of, you couldn't get a word in with him. It was funny when he first heard you he was covering my face with kisses lol as I held him on my lap and every time you spoke his ears perked up lol but he could not figure out where your Voice was coming from thank you for contacting me and letting me hear your Voice it has made me feel even closer to you then I already did Love you tons and tons xxxxx

Am glad you had a great time. Was the headset with microphone very expensive and easy to hook up. Would it work with transcribing do you think? Always willing to learn and see others succeed. Technology is good when it is used to good things. Thanks for sharing it in discussion form at Mylot.

I chat with my online friends at times, when they're busy doing other things and find it difficult to type. Our lines remain open for ages, because it costs us nothing extra, and it's great to be linked. However, I don't have a separate mike and headset, I use my webcam mike, which is just as effective. The strange thing is, I have never spoken with Gabs online, lol. I have spoken to friends across the "pond", which is great... I love to hear their accents. :) What would we ever do if we lost our computers suddenly, and lost touch with all our faraway friends who can be brought into our own homes at the push of a button? Yes, I do believe that Internet is wonderful. Internet has changed our world today. We can talk with people from different countries more easily. It makes our world smaller.

I didn't know you could do that! Is there a long distance charge involved? I agree the internet is wonderful for so many different things. It is a constant source of amazement to me. How wonderful to be able to talk to your friend. You'll have to get a computer cam next, so you can see and talk at the same time!

hey things just get better, when you use great internet apps you get to do a lot more things than just chat and talk, and all the social networking sites out there are a real positive factor in this regard. it helps to make tho world smaller , much smaller than what the other tech revoloutions could do. i luv the internet. doesnt every1?! why it also made shopping easier- not only to get the stuff but also to get thmoney to get the stuff(mylot) :)

Did you just realised that the world has suddenly shrinked? I heard folks from the UK don't much use yahoo messenger though.I helped created few of my friend's ID for messenger.I was surprised they havn't yet signed up on messenger.Or may be they were just ignorant.Messenger's voice quality is the best among all voice chats. I wish the 'touch' you are keeping in with them remains for ever and also wish you get in touch with more other folks of the world. Hats off to Yahoo and its founder.
