Our family recently spent a week in NM. We went as part of the family mission trip from our church. It was very interesting to see the different landscape and to have much lower humidity. (I live in Arkansas)
While there we were able to visit Petroglyph National Monument and Old Town.
Before leaving NM, we drove south to Carlsbad Caverns and were able to see the evening bat flight and tour the cave.
Do you live in or have you visited NM? What do you like about NM?

Alb, NM was fun. I've grown up in humidity but Alb. didn't have any. It was weird, but it sure was nice.

I know very little about New Mexico myself unfortunately but that is where my s/o was born. I'm not too sure if you'd be familiar with the towns, but he was born in Clovis and also lived in Portales. His mom grew up there and his da was staioned there on the Air Force base. He was really little when they lived there so he doesn't remember much alhough they did go back to visit for a few weeks whenever they could.
