are there more then just 7 books

There are two spin-offs that I know of- they're made to look like Hogwarts school books. One is Magical Creatures and I can't think of the other one. I found both at my local library. Try searching your library's online option for "Harry Potter" and you may turn them up. I'm not sure if they're really written by someone else or JK using a penname for them, but they're under the authors names that were used in the HP books when discussing those books. Well, actually I don't think so, but JK said she's going to write a encyclopedia about the character that will reveal some stuff, and that's almost right that another author was allowed to write books about Harry, I just don't know when she'll do it.
