What is your favourite shampoo/conditioner? What's the "best" for my hair type?

What's your favourite shampoo/conditioner, and why? Is it just the scent (I'm guilty of that) or does it really do what it claims? I have hair that reaches down past my butt; it is naturally wavey, but prone to being a little "frizzy". I rarely blow-dry it (it just takes too long) and it has minimal "damage"...but I'd like to find a shampoo/conditioner that REALLY smooths it down, prevents or helps control the frizzies. Suggestions?

I do the scent thing too but also my shampoo and conditioner works really well for my hair I use Suave Lavander but right now I am trying the whole sunsilk thing but its not giving me the body I want in my hair. I use to have really foofie hair it was so damaged from the perms that I had to cut most of it off when it grew back it was so flat and I am afraid to go and get another perm so I am now trying body products for my hair but none have done the job yet

I like Sunsilk too, but I find it's not "quite there" with the anti-frizz. Also, If I leave a little too much conditioner on my hair, it feels a bit oily. Not terribly so, but enough for me to notice.

My stylist told me that a lot of shampoos and conditioners strip your hair and then coat it with plastics to make it look good. Of course that does serious damage to your hair. I'd suggest going to a high priced stylist (who has good hair themselves) once and see which shampoo/conditioner they recommend and discuss the topic with them.
