A song I'd completely forgotten about

I've had my Ipod going all day and there are so many songs on there it could literally take years to hear them all. Well, a song just came on that I'd forgotten all about and haven't heard in ages. I love that...it's a like hearing it for the first time again...it was "Stay By Me", by Annie Lennox and the lyrics always really touched me...here they are Stay by me And make the moment last Please take these lips Even if I have been kissed A million times And I don't care if there is no tomorrow When I could die here in your arms Even if the stars have made us blind We're blind we're blind So blind in love Sweet darling Don't you know that we're no different to anyone We stumble We falter But we're no different than anyone And all the winter snow has melted know Into a pool of silver water And we were standing in a thunder cloud Dark as your hair Dark as your hair

I am currently listening to Annie Lennox, No More I Love Yous, she has a wonderful voice and I never get fed up listening to her, she was also great in Eurythmics. I agree the lyrics are very poignant and moving. I have all her tracks on Itunes.

Oh my Gosh!...it was late when i found out that I'm following this discussion which is posted way back 6 years ago. Imagine! I was hooked by the title "A song I'd completely forgotten." Out of curiosity i scroll down and read the topic and went to youtube to search and play the music...hmmm...it's my first time to hear & listen to her music and it gives me a relaxing mood, what a nice voice she have! It's not a bad idea at all scrolling on this discussion...i found new great music to listen too.

Oddly enough, I don't think I've ever heard that Annie Lennox song! I really liked her when she was in the Eurythmics (sp?), and I love the song she did for Bram Stoker's Dracula. I know what you mean about way too many songs on the iPod though. Mine has cleared 10,000 now. :)

nice song I like the text but I'm not really heard it would be nice to hear it. There are many songs that are remembered life because they are always songs that are used in our lives even after 20 years 10. nice day!

While I 'm not familiar with Annie Lennox (or at least I don't think I am) I find the lyrics to be AWESOME!!! I too, have CDs in every room of the house...despite mostly listening to music on the computer or my IPOD. What makes us that way? Are we official hoarders?
