Which Did You Think Was Better?

"The Illusionist" or "The Prestige"; two films about magicians that were released at the same time.
I liked "The Prestige" it was clever and it kept you guessing. It was hard to decide which character you were supporting more though.
I saw "The Illusionist" tonight and I think it was quite beautifully filmed and overall a bit better than "The Prestige" which got rather overcomplicated and unbelievable in comparison. My partner isn't convinced though! What do other people think.

The Illusionist is better. The ending of The Prestige felt like a soap opera ending and overall their twisting of historical fact in some instances was silly. The way The Prestige was filmed with sequences out of order was quite confusing for many as were the accents donned by the lead actors.

I have not yet seen "The Prestige", but it is on my cue for Blockbuster online. I saw "The Illusionist" and thought it was one of the better movies I have seen. It really surprised me at the end. Even though I know the ending, I would nost definitely watch this movie again.
