last chap a begining for a new series

its strange but reading the last chapter of the hp7 gives afeeling that jk wants the option of continuing the story open ,not with harry ofcourse but still the way the young characters were described, it gives a feeling that she wanted to the readres to ask what will happen to them now?

I don't think J.K. left the ending 'hanging' as the epilogue is set 19 years after the final encounter between Harry and Voldemort. I believe all the loose ends have all been taken care of.
Besides, the ultimate goal is to defeat Voldemort, right? So I think the story ends there.

probably you have got me wrong , i had only meant to say that jk has left the option of stating a new story with new characters, as a host of the 2nd generation kids were introduced in the last chapter never did i mean to say that she left the story hanging or didnt complete it.

That will be great then. At least we'll still get to read HP related books in the near future. Who knows right?. ;)
