Harry Potter - Dead or Alive???

I really liked the way JK Rowling handled the ending of this series. Harry was given the option of dying and joining his parents and all the others who had gone before him and living in the hereafter in peace, but he chose to remain with the living and to finish Voldemort off once and for all -- we hope. She also left the avenue open where she could continue writing the story either with Harry continuing as main character or with his children as the main characters. I think it would be cool if she'd start a new series about the kids. Maybe there could be a son of Voldemort hidden away that no one knew about. Whatever. It was a wonderful ending to a most wonderful reading experience. The movies don't begin to measure up to the complexity of the books. People who only watch the movies are missing so much!
