When i was still a kid, i still remembered those time when i was attached. It was late in the evening then, when my asthma strike and i couldn't breath anymore. They brought me to the nearest hospital. I thought that time I'm already dead. And i wanted to be dead those time because I'm already tired everytime my asthma strike. I inherited my asthma to my grand father. He died in an asthma attacked. Now, that I'm already married. My son inherited my asthma. From the day he was born, the doctor says that she heard a whiz in my son.Its like an asthma. That's why I'm so careful in my son to avoid asthma. I didn't used colon or any scented baby bath. But still my son got an asthma. He is still 8 months and 4 weeks old now.But he already had an asthma. I don't want him to be like me. I've always go to the doctor for his monthly check up just to make sure the health of my son. I've search in the internet and even in the books about the cure of asthma. But I'm not contented. Is there anyone who can give advise or remedy about asthma? pls help.

I have a one year old daughter with asthma as well, what trigger her attack is mostly environmental factors. No. 1 is dust, and the second one is colds. I make sure that I refrain going into places that can accumulate dust and may trigger my daughter's asthma.. Healthy foods and vitamins helped me a lot. Proper Nutrition in general. .. Doctors are of great help too. I make sure that I go to her pedia for a monthly check-up. Cure is really impossible at this time, Prevention is more likely to take place.

I have had asthma all of my life, and I am 22 years of age. Best way to keep it under wraps, exercise and regular doctor visits. Asthma is very common with my generation.

If you are lucky your son might grown out of his astma. Did you? In children younger than three years old, the doctors usually call asthma asthmatic bronchitis, which essentially mean that it might be a passing disease. I had asthma since I was about 1-2 years old, but I was not diagnosed until age 25, when my oldest son (he was 2 at the time) was diagnosed. I never really knew anything about asthma until this time, and it was my son's doctor, who told me to go check out that cough. I was diagnosed almost immeadiately after the testing, which showed how low my respiration levels where. After having read about the disease I can see all the symptoms, and my parents and my grandmother told me that I had had that stupid cough since age 1-2 years old. They have always told me to stop the cougning, because it was annoying :) Well, I have passed my asthma along to both my sons age 4 and 1, and the youngest has the worst case. I have found out that stress, cold weather, dust, smoke, rugs and bad indoor climate can trigger the attacks. Always keep your medication with you, give your son medication regularly, and make sure to have your doctor's and the nearest emergency room number and address with you. I had to go in to the emergency room to get the mask on myself, and it was a big help, when I really felt like I could not breathe. Whenever I go to my home country Denmark, our asthma gets worse, but in FLorida, where we now live, we have only few problems, so the climate really has a great effect in my family. Good luck and all the best to you and your son.
