have you ever been told you're good for nothing?

You think you're ugly. You're no good at sports. Not good in school or work either. Do you look in the mirror and wished you were someone else? If your answer is yes, you're in the majority. Probably everyone who has ever lived wished that they could change at least one thing about themselves: their nose, their height, their personality -- something.

I was never told that but my husband was from his own father.. Someone that was never there for him growing up and finally entered his life when he turned 30 years old. My husband is a great person.. Very easy to get along with and not to mention smart.. When his own father told him this he was very hurt I could see it in his eyes..We packed our things and left.. My husband didn't talk to his dad for well over 3 years.. When my husband found out his dad wasn't able to see well this was a month ago he went to see him for the first time in that long.. What happened I don't know that's between them two.. But for someone to say that to someone eles is just wrong.. and I know it made him feel ugly, no good and the other things that go along with it..

Yes, i have been told that line before but I have not taken it seriously for I know that there are really things that I am no good at. Its a reality, it was said in a nice way that I only thought of it as a joke and nothing serious.

Anyone who would say that to another person has problems. We all have good in us. None of us are perfect, but we all have something good about us. There are many things that I might like to change, but I know that there are also good things about me. Nobody should let themselves feel like they are worthless. If they do, they may be suffering from depression.
