what facial cleanser do you use? what is the best you've used?

Was wondering whether you are brand loyal on facial cleanser, assuming you use it in the first place! I love washing my face. it makes me feel so refreshed and i am ready to face whatever comes my way again. esp at the end of the day when it washes all the dust and weariness off, and also at the start of the day when it wakes me up! i am now using Neutrogena Deep Clean, which is the best 'budget' cleanser I've used! used to use 'eversoft' which also gives a clean feel, but that is slightly more drying. There's just something about NDC that feels clean and minty yet not dry! Lots of women spend tons on expensive brands like Dermalogica (USD$50 for 400ml?) or slightly less expensive brands like Clinque's three step wash. How about you? do you have a cleanser that you swear by? what makes you like it so much?

I'm not really an avid user of a certain facial cleanser brand, i switches brands from time to time, i easily get bored. hehehehe I've used Ponds facial cleanser before, Nivea, Johnson's facial wash, Neutrogena Deep Clean, I'm currently using Clean & Clear daily facial scrub. I don't really spend a lot of money when it comes to my facial cleanser. Not to brag, but my face doesn't really need an expensive one. Guess I'm just lucky with my facial skin. :D

Hmm... I never really put much thought into facials actually. Most of the time I will just use what ever shower foam that I am using to wash my face as well. No problem so far. Does it really make that much of a difference if you use normal soap, shower foam or facial clenser? Apart from those medicated facial clenser, the normal ones also comes in various brands. Does the different brands really make a difference to your face?

Well ever since I discovered organic face wash, I will never go back to regular face wash. It is the best thing that has ever happened to my face. The name of it is Eminence and it's pure organic; all natural. It's a little expensive but it's sooo worth it. I swear by it!

I used ponds facial cleanser for 7 years. I don't switch cleanser to avoid irritation. I stick to the basic cleanser sometimes which is astringent, i let my eyes rest for 30 mins then i washed my face.

I just discovered a great line of skin care products (facial cleansers etc) It was created by a Dr. Dover from Chestnut Hill, MA and is called Skin Effects. It is sold at CVS only. It is such a gentle cleanser and great for sensitive skin.

Actually I just love Avons products and they are great and most times you can catch them on sale for the same price as other cleaners in the store. I love the Avon Clearskin line they have. I usually use clearskin invigorating cleansing scrub once a week or sometimes twice if I need it. and use a two in one cleansing mask and a cleansing gel throughout the week. The mask makes my skin feel really good and smooth, it is my favorite. Another kind to try is a brand with shea butter in it. Planet spa has a nice one.

I use ProActive and it is actually working on my skin. I have tried everything, and when I got ProActive it really worked. I know a lot of people say that, but in my case it really is true.

I just wash my face with soap and give it well with cold water. I have used Oil of Ulan or Olay moisturiser under my make-up since I was a teenager (and I am now 71). People often compliment me on my skin, but I think it is more hereditary than it is any care it has been given.

Let me start by saying that I have problem skin. Even as an adult I stll get acne, especially around certain times of the month. I have tried many facial cleansers to help keep my skin spot free and less shiny (I have oily skin too). In the end the one that has worked best for me is a bar soap from the company LUSH. This soap is called Fresh Farmacy and it's been a life saver. It's a bar of pink creamy soap that has lots of really good natural ingredients in it...including calomine (that's why it's so pink). For some this soap might be drying, but for me it's perfect. My skin has dramatically imporved since I have been using it and even though it's a little pricey it's become an item I just can't do without. I would whole heartedly reccomend it to anyone with skin issues.

Like Scarlet2000 who's post is copied here: I use Arbonne skin care products. Arbonne is swiss fromulated and botanically based. I use the Re9 products they are great. I like the fact that Arbonne is ph correct, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, never tested on animals, formulated without animal products or by-products, formulated without mineral oil, dyes and no fragrance added. I also use there make-up, haircare and nutritional supplements. Arbonne has a great line of products. I have fallen in love with this line of products. I was skeptical that it would really make a difference. I had been washing with tea tree oil soap and using witch hazel as an astrigent for years and thought that most products were just a bunch of hype. My skin has changed drastically since discovering Arbonne. Fine lines have gone away, skin discolorations have faded and I just feel healthier from the inside out. Everyone should discover Arbonne, IMO.

I love Body Shop's tea tree facial soap. It was recommended by a friend and although it costs more than the regular cleansers out there, I think it is worth it. I am prone to acne break-outs and before I used this soap, I had pimples that randomly pops out anywhere in my face and its very irritating not to mention embarassing. When I started using the soap and some other creams that are anti-acne, also recommended by my friend, the break-outs rarely happen anymore.

I have 3 different cleaners. All of them are Olay. Typically I like Biore as well but I don't know lately I've been doing the Olay thing. I have an Olay daily facials clarity scrub. I have olay warming face wash. And I have Olay deep hyrdating face wash. I pretty much dig all of them. I don't really have acne problems but I don't know I still feel compelled to use face washes to prevent acne. I've never even had acne problems. I've always found Olay to be my favorites. I do like Aveeno too but it's just so expensive.
