ok i am venting my now considerable frustration about Barnes&Nobles.com (www.bn.com)!! i have 2 gift cards..one for $30 and one from last xmas that has $5.10 left on it. i just ordered $42 worth of books and was happy to finally be able to utilize the remaining 5.10 on the old card..NOPE!! they will only let you use ONE gift card per online order!!WTF?!! So basically that 5.10 is going right into the trash! i admit that its only 5 bucks, but still! thats almost the price of a whole book! amazon.com lets you use multiple giftcards why the hell cant B&N?? honestly..what do you think the reason behind that "rule" is?

There is a "pay later" feature somewhere on the Barns & Noble websites that will allow you to order, and then they e-mail you a bill with an order number. You phone this order number into the phone number they provide, and quote your gift card numbers. I think the number is 1 800 THE BOOK or something like that.

Wow, thanks for the warning. What an awful way to do business. I wouldn't buy a gift card for anyfrom from there if I knew that was how they deal with customers. What about trying to Ebay the card? You might be able to get a couple dollars...lol.
